Who we are and what this policy applies to

Supply Chain Butler, Inc. ("Supply Chain Butler," "we," "us") runs supplychainbutler.com. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website, use our forms or booking pages, or chat with us; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Contact details you type into a form, booking page or chat, such as your name and email. Booking pages may also ask for your company and phone number.

  • What you write to us in a form, chat or message.

  • Your choice about whether to receive updates from us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and browser details, such as browser type, device type and general location based on IP address.

  • How you use our site, such as pages viewed, links clicked, the page that sent you here and the time of your visit.

  • Cookie identifiers, described below.

We do not ask for health information on our website. Please don't send it to us through forms or chat.

How we use information

  • To reply to your questions and requests.

  • To schedule and hold a Business Conversation you book.

  • To send updates, only if you choose to receive them.

  • To understand how our site is used and to improve it.

  • To keep our site working properly and to prevent misuse.

  • To meet legal obligations.

Live chat

Our website chat shows this notice before you start:

"In a medical emergency, call 911. Please share only your first name and email. Don't share personal health details. We use your email to reply to this conversation. [ ] Also send me occasional updates from Supply Chain Butler. (Optional. You can unsubscribe at any time.)"

Here is what that means:

  • In a medical emergency, call 911.

  • Our chat is not for medical advice.

  • We ask for your first name and email only.

  • Please don't share personal health details in chat.

  • We use your email to reply to your conversation.

  • Updates are optional. The box starts unticked, you don't need to tick it to chat, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

  • We don't collect phone numbers or send texts through chat.

Chat is provided by HubSpot, which stores the conversation for us. If health details are shared in chat anyway, we delete or redact them once we see them.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run our site, remember your choices, and understand how visitors use the site.

  • Necessary cookies keep the site and chat running.

  • Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited and how people find us. Google Analytics cookies are used only for visitors we detect as being in the United States.

  • Form and chat cookies link your form submissions and chat conversations with your visits.

When you first visit, a cookie banner explains our use of cookies. Visitors in the United States can choose Decline to opt out of non-essential cookies, and Decline turns off Google Analytics. Visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a banner that asks for consent before non-essential cookies are used. Google Analytics does not run for these visitors, even if they choose Accept. To change your choice later, clear the cookies for our site in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit, or email Info@SupplyChainButler.com and we will help. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser. Some parts of the site may not work without them.

Analytics tools we use

HubSpot. We use HubSpot for live chat, forms and email, and for basic site analytics. HubSpot processes this information on our behalf.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used and to improve it. It runs only for visitors we detect as being in the United States, based on the time zone setting in the visitor's browser. If we cannot recognize the time zone as a United States time zone, Google Analytics does not run. A time zone setting is a device setting, not an exact location, so a small number of visitors may be placed in the wrong group. Visitors outside the United States are not counted in Google Analytics. Google Analytics does not run on any health-related page. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising: its advertising features, Google Signals and advertising links are turned off. We do not send it your name, email or other personal details.

To opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. On our site, choosing Decline in the cookie banner, or a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal from your browser, turns off Google Analytics.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of non-essential cookies and of any sale or sharing of your personal information, for both HubSpot and Google Analytics.

We also honor Do Not Track signals in the same way.

Tracking across other websites

Other companies may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use our site, through tools we place on it. Today, HubSpot collects information on our site for us, and Google Analytics does so only for visitors we detect as being in the United States. We do not allow advertising networks to collect information on our site, and we do not use advertising pixels on any page.

No sale and no sharing for advertising

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

We do not place advertising pixels or similar ad-tracking tools on our website, including pages about Butler Direct or any other health-related topic.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run our site and business, such as HubSpot for chat, forms, email and booking, and Google for site analytics for visitors in the United States. They may use it only to provide services to us.

  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when needed.

  • Government bodies or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our visitors or the public.

  • A buyer or successor if our business is merged, sold or reorganized. This policy would continue to apply to your information.

Butler Direct

Butler Direct is powered by Lyric.

When you join Butler Direct or use its care services, the care provider collects and handles information under its own privacy terms, which we do not describe here.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

  • Chat conversations: kept as long as needed to answer you and follow up on your request, then deleted.

  • Form and booking details: kept while we are in touch with you about your request or a Business Conversation, then deleted.

  • Health details shared in chat by mistake: deleted or redacted once we see them.

  • If you unsubscribe: we keep only your email and your choice, so we can honor it.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:

  1. Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy.

  2. Correct information that is wrong.

  3. Delete your personal information.

  4. Stop any use of your information for marketing.

To make a request, email Info@SupplyChainButler.com or call 615.465.0582. You can also ask someone you authorize to make a request for you. We will check that the request comes from you, usually by confirming your email address.

We will confirm we received your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you can ask us to look at it again by replying to our answer.

We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time using the link in any update email, and change your cookie choices at any time as described in Cookies and similar technologies above.

Health information

Our website is not a place to share health information. We ask you not to share it in chat or forms, we do not ask for it, and we delete or redact it if it is shared by mistake. We do not use health information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

If you live in Washington State or another state with a consumer health data law, you can use the rights above for any consumer health data we hold, and you can contact us with questions about it.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

Our website is intended for people in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is handled in the United States.

Keeping information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No website or online service can be fully protected.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date and place a notice on our homepage before the change takes effect.
